Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of grokbotusecases.com and of any use case or template you find here. Please read them before you use a template.
01Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and the operator of Grok Bot Use Cases, which runs grokbotusecases.com ("we" or "us"). You accept them when you check the box and select Continue before opening a template, or when you submit a form on this site after being shown a link to these terms.
You must be 18 or older to use a template. If you use the site for a company or other organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it.
02What this site is
Grok Bot Use Cases is an independent community site that describes ways people use Grok Bot, an AI assistant for desktop and phone, and shares templates and examples. We do not make, sell, or operate Grok Bot or any AI tool, and we do not run templates for you.
"Grok" is a trademark of its owner and is used here only to describe the product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SpaceX, xAI, or the maker of Grok Bot.
Content is general information only. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, or medical advice. Templates about money, investing, or crypto are examples, not recommendations.
03As is, with no warranties
The site, all use cases, and all templates are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not promise that any template works, gives accurate results, stays current, or is safe for your accounts or data. AI tools can act in unexpected ways, and the sites and apps a template relies on can change at any time.
04Your responsibility
You decide whether to run, change, and approve a template's actions, and you are responsible for the results, including fees, messages sent, and changes to your accounts. Review every action before it is sent, bought, canceled, or confirmed, and follow the laws and the terms of every site and app that apply to you.
05Submissions
If you submit a use case or template, you confirm you have the right to share it. You keep ownership, and you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to edit, publish, and share it on this site, in the newsletter, and on our social accounts.
The Friday recap newsletter is published and sent through Substack. When you subscribe, Substack's terms and privacy policy also apply to your subscription. You can unsubscribe anytime with the link in any email.
06Third parties and sponsors
We do not verify or endorse third-party content, linked sites, products, or sponsors. We aim to clearly mark paid placements as Sponsored. Sponsors are responsible for their own claims, and we intend to disclose compensation next to related content. Your dealings with any third party are between you and them.
07Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or account access.
Our total liability for all claims related to the site, use cases, or templates is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100.
These limits do not apply to liability for our fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or violation of law, or to anything that cannot be limited under applicable law, including California Civil Code section 1668.
08Indemnification
You agree to cover third-party claims, and reasonable costs of defending them, to the extent they arise from your misuse of the site, actions you ran or approved with a template, your submissions, or your violation of these terms or the law. This does not apply to claims caused by our own fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
09Takedowns
If you believe content on this site infringes your rights, email meadow@mail.grokbot.com with the subject "Takedown request," a link to the page, a description of the work involved, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, except that either side may bring a claim in small claims court.
Before filing any claim, please email us at meadow@mail.grokbot.com and allow 30 days to try to resolve it informally.
11Changes
When we update these terms, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will ask you to accept the new version before you open another template. Changes do not apply to disputes that began before the change.
12General
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the site. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term, that is not a waiver.
